I felt that by further “explaining” myself, it may ease some of misunderstanding about my original intent in the post: ahem, the squid on your shield, Atolm, looks like Greyjoy’s sigil.

And honestly, I don’t think my explanation really got through to you..
since you still suggested that I was both “back-peddling” and “correcting” myself, indicting that you still project my intent as: you’re copying greyjoy’s sigil onto your shield.

..so..how exactly is this a “success” in making me thinking “a bit wiser” about my post? I have not changed my position at all. I still find the squid on Atolm’s shield looking like Greyjoy’s sigil. But does that mean Atolm copied the sigil? no.

Which makes me question about your thought process..
you had consciously made the immediate connection that Atolm’s squid is copying greyjoy’s sigil, which is why you flamed my post, telling me that “Atolm is not copying! How dare you!”
Thus, you’re the one who actually thought that Atolm was copying the sigil in the first place.

Maaaan now i need to type and be all serious business. Considering the fact i said “you’re an idiot if you believe” and you’ve taken offense to this remark, this means my evaluation was correct and you do indeed believe that this is a duplication of the shield in question, or at least heavily borrows from the subject (or you care about my opinion. in which case please accept the following .jpg as a reaction)

A simple “that’s not what I intended to state and I apologize” would have worked, but i suppose it’s a natural reaction to attempt defense. So here we go!

My apologies if I don’t believe you. I’ve seen this behavior in individuals who feel that the internet gives them the right to act in any fashion. Your “ahem” implied a malicious intent and provided no feedback nor explanation. It was only after you received negative feedback that you decided to properly explain yourself.

Now this simply could be the honest truth and you didn’t mean to give such implication (which was obviously taken wrong not just by myself, but several others, including the creator.) or you decided that the aggression being thrown at you was something you didn’t expect to receive and prefer not to make enemies by simply stating you miscommunication your intentions.

Unfortunately, we’ll never know.

Also, if you intend to apply “sass” to your voice and receive feedback from it, am i simply not also doing the same? :) Sass for everyone!

Because remember, despite you taking personal offense, i never QUITE insulted you directly. Merely stated the lack of intelligence if one was to think that this was a duplication of the Game of Thrones item.

As for the last remarks, you’re entitled to your own opinion as several people have given opinions about you just now over your actions. If I were to actually take offense by your declaration as you seemingly are with mine, than I suppose i’d be butthurt.

But you know, i’m kinda not because we both have nothing but faint interaction to determine each others personalities and traits. So what do we know? :D

I do kind of find this a bit interesting. I haven’t “argued” with someone in forever and i’m rather interested in the mentality of people who seemingly expect other people to understand what they’re imply by a single word that sounds rather obvious in it’s hostility.

I guess the same could be said about mine and other reactions. I can help clarify that a bit more if you’d like. Hell i’ll do it anyway, you probably don’t care.

My reaction is based solely on the implications given by simply quoting the author of the shield, followed by an image of a shield with a squid on it and the often used sound of interruption. These combined things give the impression of negativity, as if you’ve caught her in some seemingly fiendish attempt at trickery.

Had you explained yourself, this probably wouldn’t have happened with myself and the others who also got the same thing.

Kudos for apologizing to the author however. Forced or otherwise, it was probably the right thing to do, and I feel you wouldn’t have done so if you had not gotten the reactions you did.

I’m probably going to be heading to bed, so if you have anything else to state, it’ll take a few hours before i can respond. :)

tl;dr: Don’t believe you brah, sounded negative due to lack of explaination, doesn’t really matter anyway. Your hostile remarks are accepted and appreciated at face value. Good job apologizing regardless.

ok so i have a story for you kiddies here

i took my girl cressy for a few days to my sister’s house because i was babysitting for her and cressy still needs supervision as well

and these three boys my sister has let me tell you, have so much fucking lego pieces its insane

and cressy is just barely 7 months old

i can’t keep an eye on her constantly like at home when i was there, and she ended up choking on a piece of lego

i mean she eventually got it dislodged but i had my hands around her belly, this VERY SAME post in my head, trying to remember what it had said to do, and thank fuckING GOD I DIDN’T ACTUALLY NEED TO USE IT

I learned pet CPR a while ago just in case I ever needed to use it on my cats, but I knew I was getting rusty. I’m glad this came up on my dash.

I remember this when I did my animal studies course.

If you have an animal with a flat face (like pugs, chow chows etc) you can also form a cone with your hands around their nose and mouth to get air into them. Or use a tube if possible. From what I remember their air lines are more compressed so you have to keep everything covered as much as possible
